We will treasure this piece of our family history, a wine made by George de Pury, Sandra and David’s grandfather. George was born in 1870, and was over 60 years old when he and Florence had their only child, Guill.
Our Yeringberg labels didn't feature vintages back then, but we can assume that it was made around 1920. The award label would've been added sometime later, as we ceased wine production after 1921.
Our label really hasn’t changed much in all these years, but it is a long time since we last made a HOCK. (love the full stop on the label!)
